This ain't rocket science, but a fairly simple project that can be finished in 3 nights... Upper left you will see the pierce oscillator coupled by the olive colored 250pf cap to a 2n2222A
preamp.. I lowered the emitter resistor on the upper middle (Q2) to 22 ohms to get a little more output ~ 70 mw. Why the yellow and red lines from the front panel???? Well, should I contact someone
with 1 watt, and can flip the switch and try 160 mw.... Note, I have 2 tweeked tank circuits for low and high power. Reducing my power 10 dB will bring my signal down .. maybe 2 S-units...
If I'm trully a 599, then 579 should be acceptable if noise is much lower.. On the lower left, I see the makings for a compact 30 mtr receiver... Stay tuned... |
