Need a CW qrp rig you can  put in your pocket, or maybe an altoids can... Well the Little Joe transmitter for 40,30,20, 15/10 can bring a smile to your face.  At one watt, expect your signal to be about 20dB weaker than the typical 100watt HF transmitter.. Or aproximately 3 to 4 S-units less than the 100 watt rig.. Bottomline:  If a station is reaching you with modest power and showing a 599  or better, this  one-watt rig can do the job!  Here is the 20 mtr mod Little joe with its VFO.  No rocks here!  Putting the computer to work, the switching transistor did its thing at  60 wpm.  Viewing on the scope, the shape of the output was still very exceptable.  You got to nibble the  board to get it into an altoids can.  Clean output with aprox. 1 watt output.
