Here is a better view from the top.  On the left we have the 220 pf polycon variable cap..  The antenna taps as well as the detector taps are connected to the variable position, make before break switches.  Bus wire is square bus wire from Antique electronics as well as the clips.  The gold tips for the crystal headset  were found in the junk box.  The coil it self is approx.  330 uh and the unit tunes  540-1700 khz AM.  The base and mounting face board  were purchased from Michael's craft store...  Total cost -- ~$30-40 --  Works real well... If the station is an S9 you will hear it!
